Product fit call

Book a product fit call with Ian

Bring the product problem. Ian will spend 30 minutes sorting fit, next steps, and whether Edgecaser should be involved.

Book a 30-minute product fit call

No generic sales demo. You will talk with Ian Brillembourg about what is stuck, which scope fits the problem, and what a useful first 2 to 4 weeks should prove. A good fit call should make the next decision easier, even when the answer is no.

Fit check

Before you book

Bring a real product decision. The call is for sorting what shape of product help fits the pressure now.

Who should book?

Book when there is an active product call to make, not a loose intro. In 30 minutes, Ian Brillembourg will pressure-test the problem, sort the likely engagement model, and sketch what the first 2 to 4 weeks should prove.

What is this page not for?

Skip the calendar if the ask is pure design staff augmentation, production-only UX help, implementation with no product decision authority, or specialist advice that belongs to legal, security, privacy, or compliance owners.

Will pricing be covered?

Pricing stays at the engagement-model level in v1. Expect a directional fit discussion, such as fractional, sprint-based, review-based, process-focused, implementation-guidance, or advisory. Hourly rates and exact ranges are not published here.

What is included after we work together?

Every engagement includes lifetime access to Shipwright Plus, the private premium version of the open-source Shipwright PM toolkit. Shipwright Plus adds a cross-model conflict harness for high-stakes product decisions, with an optional 30-minute setup call and one year of email support.

Before you book

What stays private stays private

Bring the messy context if it helps: product goals, notes, artifacts, pressure points. Public materials stay limited to facts you have approved.

Approved facts only

Private roadmaps, dashboards, datasets, PHI, confidential product artifacts, and client screenshots stay out of public materials unless you choose otherwise.

Working material belongs in the working room. It is not raw copy for the public site.

Artifacts support the diagnosis

If you share product goals, roadmap notes, or other artifacts for the call, they are used to pinpoint the product decision pressure.

The next step is a recommended fractional, sprint, or advisory scope. Most work starts with a 2 to 4 week plan.

The fit call can use messy working material without turning it into public proof.

Book the call

Bring the product problem

Book 30 minutes with Ian Brillembourg. Bring the product problem, not the polished sales-deck version of it.

The agenda stays practical. We pin down the product problem first. If there is a fit, the call should make one thing clear: whether this needs fractional product leadership, an AI product sprint, or advisory support, plus what the first 2 to 4 weeks should actually produce.

Calendly asks for five fields: name, email, company, role, and a short description of the product problem or engagement need. Keep sensitive material out of the form. That means no private dashboards, datasets, roadmaps, PHI, screenshots, or confidential client artifacts.
